Psalm 117 and Praise
Psalm 117 is probably the psalm with the least amount of words yet provides so much content in the two verses. We are created to praise the LORD and to acknowledge everything that He has done for us. When we feel low, he gives us the ability to be on heights. When we are insecure, he provides the sense of security we need. When we feel anxious, He reassures us with the promises that He gave to Moses and David. He will not leave us or forsake us. He is our GOD.
For this and all, the LORD is to be praised. With singing, dancing, worship, and in everything we do.
“Praise the LORD, all nations! Extol him, all peoples! For great is his steadfast love toward us, and the faithfulness of the LORD endures forever. Praise the LORD!” – Psalm 117: 1-2
The steadfast love and faithfulness of the LORD extends forever. There is no stopping. There is no pause. It extends from now until eternity. So great is the LORD, that He provides for us from our greatest needs. He provides love and faithfulness forever.
