The Blossoming of the Desert

“The wilderness and the dry land shall be glad; the desert shall rejoice and blossom like the crocus; it shall blossom abundantly and rejoice with joy and singing.” – Isaiah 35: 1-2

There is no impossibility for the GOD who works wonders. The LORD tells Isaiah that in future days, there will be signs and wonders that will occur that are great to behold. Individuals will see that the LORD is able to make the land grow and become fruitful even when it was previously a desert. Similarly, the LORD gives sinners the possibility to bloom into becoming green from previously being a desert. While the example is a literal example, it can describe the manner in which the LORD is able to change what was and to make it completely new.

There are some deserts that have always been arid and have not had much vegetation grow from its ground. While this may be the case for some deserts, when the LORD decides He is able to make even the deserts turn into vast regions of vegetation in which the inhabitants of the land can be able to eat from their crops. The change occurs when GOD decides to change what is happening. There is nothing that GOD the Father cannot do to provide for His people and believers.

Instead of turning to sin, it is time to turn to faith and devotion. There is still time to praise GOD and ask for forgiveness for sins. There is still time to change. The LORD is full of steadfast love and is capable of forgiving sins. Like a desert that springs into life, will the LORD provide life to those who seek it.
