Isaiah Prophesies About GOD’s Creation
” For behold, I create new heavens and a new earth, and the former things shall not be remembered or come into mind.” – Isaiah 65: 17
When read Isaiah, we are able to see the Prophesies about Jesus Christ and the promises that GOD has promised not only to the people and prophets but to the world. We read that Isaiah tells about a future servant of GOD that would be able to fulfill the promises told to not only one prophet but to the prophets like Jeremiah, Ezekiel, and others. We learn that GOD wants us to know that we are able to trust in the promises that He has placed in His word of life.
We learn that the prophesies of Jesus Christ also tell about a future time when people will be able to live in peace without the temptations to sin, sin, or the effects of sin. We are able to see that the future world will be better than what was described in Genesis due to the sin that occurred in disobeying GOD’s instructions. We are able to see that GOD is showing us that there is a future where there will no longer be sin and the effects of sin which have caused destruction.
In the chapter of Isaiah, we learn that GOD’s new created world will consist of a new earth and a new heavens after the old earth and the old heaven are no longer there. Instead we have a new creation from GOD that He is able to create. We know from the Scriptures that our GOD is a GOD of creation that is able to make all things new for the good of His Kingdom and the good of believers. While it may be difficult to believe this for the non-believer, believers are encouraged to continue with their trust in GOD, Jesus Christ, and the Spirit of Truth that allows us to understand GOD’s word and understand the meaning of His purpose. We are encouraged to continue trusting in the GOD of Creation, the GOD of Jacob, Joseph, and Daniel, and the GOD that has written history.
