“For behold, I create new heavens and a new Earth, and the former things shall not be remembered or come into mind. But be glad and rejoice forever in that which I create; for behold, I create Jerusalem to be a joy, and her people to be a gladness.”- Isaiah 65: 17-18

“Before they call I will answer; while they are yet speaking I will hear. The wolf and the lamb shall graze together; the lion shall eat straw like the ox, and dust shall be serpent’s food. They shall not hurt or destroy in all my holy hill.”- Isaiah 65: 24-25

In Isaiah, Ezekiel, Matthew, John, Luke, and Revelation we are able to read about the Day of the LORD when the wicked will be judged. We learn that there is a specific day created by GOD where the sun and moon will be darkened and the stars will fall and not give their light. There are various descriptions of these events which signify the end of the ages.

While this may appear difficult to understand, we know that GOD is destroying the old earth and old heaven in order to create a new earth and new heaven. Those who are believers know that we are not to be in fear because GOD will create a better earth and heaven that is rid of sin. We know that GOD is the GOD of Creation, and He is able to create a new place to live for believers and create a New Jerusalem.

We learn that prior to sin, Adam was able to live in paradise with the creation peacefully. It was only after the consequences of sin that there was violence between individuals and the creation. We learn that like in the days of Adam prior to sin, saved humanity will be able to live their lives in peace, understanding, and obedience to GOD. We learn that GOD makes all things good for His kingdom and for those that believe in GOD.
